The agtech sector is expanding each year, and with that, the once-niche and all-encompassing term “AgTech” is becoming unmanageably broad. Thus, to recognize the growth in innovation both on the farm and in the supply chain, we decided it was time to bifurcate our AgTech landscape into “FarmTech” (inside the farm gate) and “Food Supply Chain Tech” (post-farm gate).
