Rob founded Better Food Ventures in 2013 to make investments aligned with the theme of applying IT to the food and agriculture industries. In founding BFV Rob leverages more then 15 years in the venture sector having previously worked at Swisscom Ventures, SK Telecom Ventures, Nokia Growth Partners and Nokia Venture Partners (now BlueRun Ventures). Prior to his days in venture capital work, he was at DIRECTV in LA and at a think-tank in DC, the Center for Strategic & International Studies. He also founded the non-profit Corporate Innovators Huddle and serves on the board of San Francisco-based engaged philanthropy organization, Full Circle Fund. He splits his time between Menlo Park and Pescadero, CA.

Seana brings over 12 years of investment, M&A advisory and technology experience to Better Food Ventures. Most recently, her roles in the food and ag landscape include Director of Strategy and Business Development at AgTech Insight, Fish 2.0 Associate and Managing Director at Centerra Capital providing Agribusiness investment advisory. Prior to her involvement in food and ag, Seana was a technology investment banker at AGC Partners in London, Ridgecrest Capital Partners in the Bay Area and Headwaters MB in Denver. She is now based in her hometown of Turlock, the heart of California’s ag-land.
At Better Food Ventures Brita brings 15 years of investment, M&A, and strategy experience within the food and food tech verticals. She is recognized as an expert on the food tech ecosystem and has advised start-ups, entrepreneurs, investors and institutions as the Principal of Rosenheim Advisors. Her analysis on the Food Tech & Media sector is regularly used by participants in the space to understand the quickly evolving landscape. Before founding Rosenheim Advisors, Brita was an investment banker focused on the consumer and media industries at ThinkEquity Partners, SG Cowen & Co. and Robertson Stephens in San Francisco.
As Better Food Ventures Advisor and Country Representative in China, Mark leverages 20 years of investment and M&A experience. Additionally, Mark has more than 10 years as serial entrepreneur in the U.S. and China with many successful exits. He has founded or been CEO of companies such as Equalfooing, Huameiyigou, and Mujinnong. Mark holds an MBA from University of Nevada, an MA in Economics and BS in Mechanics from Peking University, China.
